The general purpose of the project is to disseminate IHL and to give special advanced knowledge of the legal context in humanitarian assistance with intention to keep more motivated young specialists in the IHL and humanitarian assistance activities.
1.To improve knowledge of IHL among participating university students and to heighten their awareness of, and interest in, the activities of humanitarian assistance.
2.To encourage co-operation of professors across Europe and practitioners of the region with Red Cross societies in the field of humanitarian assistance and IHL dissemination.
3.To provide ex-NOHA students and legal personnel working in humanitarian activities with the forum to “refresh their knowledge” on IHL and afford a period to reflect on contemporary IHL issues.
4.To show the involvement of the European community and organisation of European Union in the field of humanitarian assistance.
